Though this world cup has some interesting matches, I felt that overall, the football standard has reduced drastically. I felt that the fall started in 2006 itself. 2002 was the last World Cup in which all the matches where played at highest of standards. In this world cup, many of the group mathces were too defensive and dull game meandring to a draw that too at times 0-0 draw.
I was also from very first worried of Brazil's defence which was nowhere near the glorious Pele era. Hopefully my favourite Football team does not meet with the same fate as my favourite cricket team(West Indies).
