I really recollected all the conversations that we used to have in MS wing anand, u, me, sid and muthu. I am an ardent connoissieur of cricket as much as you are. I cant agree more on whatever you have analyzed about the little wonder. I am one of his biggest ever possible fans and it is not just due to the love of the entertainment that the game provides. He is one man who will, at least i feel, be one of his kind in cricketing history. I really cant fathom the very thought that there could be another one like him even in year to come.
And it is true that he has changed roles from a swashbuckler to more of a mentor to the newer entrants, but still, all his shots when he notches up a big score, even today, are nothing less than uncut diamonds.
And apart from that, you are great writer, you english is great. I too once wrote something about the master but that was just a few paragraphs of poor english than anything else though it had enough of my feelings for the great man :) :).
